Story of Dignity Ramayana

Ramyana

Ramayana is said to be one of the holy texts of Hindus. The full story of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and how she fought with Ravana, the demon and the king of Lanka can be seen.

Shri Rama was the son of King Dasaratha. He married Goddess Sita. Goddess Sita was the daughter of King Janak. We are all aware that Shri Ram and Goddess Sita are the main characters of Ramayana. But there are some facts related to his life, about few people know. Let's know about one of these topics- scroll down through this article to know more about the incident where Lord Rama could not recognize the gems of Goddess Sita after being kidnapped by Ravana.

What Happened When Lord Rama Was Unable To Identify Goddess Sita's Jewellery?

As we know Lord Rama was sent to exile for 14 years. Then Mother Sita decided that she too would go with her husband. Lord Rama's younger brother Lakshmana was very loyal and devoted to his brother Rama. Therefore, Lakshmana also decided to go with his brother and sister-in-law.

After the marriage of Shri Rama and Goddess Sita, he had to go to exile along with Lakshman Ji. Devi Sita was kidnapped (Haran) by Ravana after going into exile. This incident is mentioned in the Kishkindha of Ramayana.

Seeta Haran

After the incident of Shurpanakha when Ravana Heard about Sita Ji’s Beauty Ravana got crooked thoughts on hearing the detailed description of Sita Ji’s Look and Lavanya (Beauty). At the same time, he was also impressed by the valor of Rama and Laxman and understood that by staying close to these two, he would not be able to spoil Sita. He was more interested in Sita than avenging the insult of Shurpanakha.

In order to fulfill his ambition, Ravana sat in his 'Pushpaka Vimana' and went to the demon Marich, with his crooked intellect, asked Marich to enchant Mata Sita by taking the form of a golden deer [Golden Deer].  Then Marich took the form of a golden deer and tried to woo Mata Sita.

As soon as the sight of Mata Sita fell on that golden deer, she expressed her desire to get that golden deer from Lord Rama.  Lord Rama could not refuse these loving requests of Sitaji and went to the forest with his bow and arrow to catch the golden deer, handing over the responsibility of taking care of Sitaji's safety to younger brother Laxmanji.

It was getting dusk, Lord Shree Rama reached the dense forest chasing the golden deer and when he felt that the deer could now be caught, he aimed the deer with his bow and released the arrow, as soon as the arrow struck Marich, he came in his real form and started screaming painfully in the voice of Lord Rama as planned by Ravana -: “Laxman, save Laxman…. Sita, Sita…. ”; Hearing this groaning voice, Sitaji told Laxmanji that "Your brothers are in some trouble and are calling you, so you go and help him, protect him". Hearing this, Lakshmanji again explained to Mata Sita that, ``there is no trouble on Rama and these are the hallucinations of any demonic power, so do not worry in vain".

Hearing this, Mother Sita did not listen to Laxmanji and became angry at him and ordered him to go "Hey Laxman, find my Lord safely." Due to this order of Mother Sita, Lakshmanji had to defy the order of his brother Ram and he agreed to go in search of Lord Shree Rama. But to fulfill the order of Lakshmanji to protect Sita Mata given by his brother Rama, he thought of a solution and according to that measure, he drew a line around the hut, within which no one could come. Then he pleaded with Mother Sita that "Sister-in-law, these are the Lakshmana-Rekha drawn by Lakshmana, no one can come within it and as long as you are within it, no one can harm you, so I pray you that No matter what the situation is until I or brother Ram returns, you should not keep your feet outside it. " Mata Sita agreed and said, "Okay, I will not go out of it, now you go to find Lord Ram." After this type of conversation, Lakshmanji went to the forest, calling Bhaiya Ram.

Ravana, who was waiting for this opportunity, said that Rama and Lakshmanji should get away from the hut so that he can complete his work. He reached the hut of Haran (Kidnap) Mata Sita, but as soon as he wanted to enter the hut, he could not enter inside due to the Lakshman Rekha drawn by Laxmanji. Now he sees his plan failing, but then he thought that he cannot go in, but Sita can come out, and to succeed in this plan he casts the form of a beggar. The beggar Ravana called " Bhiksham Dehi " to call Mata Sita out of the hut.

When Mata Sita heard such voices, she came out of the hut and started giving alms to begging Ravana who came as a beggar, but she was still inside the hut (Lakshmana Rekha) and Ravana could not kidnap her, then Ravana created another farce. Ravana, who was a monk as a monk, he pretended to be angry and said, "A monk is not tied to a bond and beggars, you can give alms free from the bondage of this hut,

give it to me, or I Will return without taking alms ”.

Unknown to this treachery of Ravana, Mata Sita said in a very humble manner, O God, I have orders that I should not go out of this hut, so please beg me. But where was Ravan going to agree on this matter? Therefore, he became even angrier and asked Mother Sita to come out and give alms, and failing to do so, she was ready to return empty-handed.

Mother Sita then thought that it is not right for a monk sannyasi to return empty-handed like this and it was only a matter of a moment, thinking that she agreed to come out of the Lakshmana-Rekha and give alms. Ravana was very happy and as soon as Mata Sita came out of Laxman-Rekha, Ravana came to a very fast realization and he kidnapped Mata Sita and dragged her forcefully into her wreath plane. Departed towards Lanka and thus Mata Sita was kidnapped (Haran).

As soon as Mata Sita understood the sequence of this momentary event, she called her husband Shri Rama and brother-in-law Lakshmanji for help, but they were unable to hear the voice of Mata Sita due to being too far away at that time. But Mata Sita acted wisely even during this calamity and she started throwing the jewelry worn towards the earth to show her the way to go, seeing that Lord Rama knew the way to reach them. Meanwhile, Mata Sita was also calling for help, after hearing that a big bird came to her aid, the name of this giant bird was 'Jatayu', he started fighting with Ravana, but due to his old body, he was much longer. Ravana could not face it and then Ravana cut his wings, due to which he fell to the ground and started groaning.

On the other hand, Lord Rama and Laxmanji had met in the forest and Laxmanji told them that his sister-in-law heard your groaning voice and forced him to leave and come here for your protection. Then Lord Rama and Lakshmanji understood that they are definitely the magic of Demonic power and Sitaji is definitely in trouble as soon as such thoughts came, both of them ran towards the hut.  But as soon as they reached the hut, seeing the things scattered there, they were frightened by the possibility of something untoward and both started searching for Sitaji.  But he did not get to know them anywhere.

While Searching for Sitaji a few birds showed a giant injured bird, it was Jatayu, who came to know that Mata Sita was taken away by the king of demons, Lanka Ravana, and thus Mata Sita.

Ramayana Lila: Lakshman never saw face of Sita

Seeing the Payal (Anklet) of Goddess Sita, what did Laxman Ji say that Lord Ram wept

* It is mentioned in the Kishkindha Kanda of Ramayana that when Goddess Sita was taken away by Ravana, Goddess Sita tied her jewelry in the pallu of the sari and threw it. Monkey Raj Sugriva got this Jewelry and he carefully placed the ornaments

* When Lord Rama reached Mount Malay in search of Sita, where King Sugriva was seated with his ministers and well-wishers in fear of his brother Bali, Sugriva handed over the jewels of Goddess Sita to Ram Ji. *

* Seeing this jewelry, Lord Rama asks Lakshman Ji that if you look at the armlets, earrings, necklaces, and anklets of Goddess Sita, do you recognize them? Hearing this question of Lord Rama, Lakshman Ji says crying. *

* Bhaiya Ram, I neither know the armlet of Goddess Sita nor do I know her earrings or necklace. I worship the feet of Goddess Sita, so my eyes were always at her feet, so I only recognize the anklets which were at her feet. *

* Hearing these things of Laxman Ji, tears of Lord Rama are spilled, and hugs Laxman and weeps. *

*In the Ramayana, the sister-in-law has been given the same place as the mother and it is said that the brother-in-law is like a son. Goddess Sita and Lakshman Ji follow this ideal and whenever Lord Rama gives orders against Goddess Sita, then, like a son, he takes the side of his mother and opposes Lord Rama.*

*Lakshmana was a true gentleman. Even during the exile, Lakshmana stayed with his brother Ram and Sister-in-law Sita, but he never looked at her face.*
